Good beginnings

Good beginnings

In February 2026, Domek na Drzewie began to take on a clearer shape online.

It was not the beginning of the idea itself. That had already been growing through notes, images, walks, seasonal observations, and the wish to create something gentle, rooted, and useful. But this was the moment when the foundations of the website began to appear: a space where those elements could be gathered, arranged, and developed further.

This blog is meant to be part of that timeline.

I want it to hold not only finished results, but also the process itself: what was added, revised, reconsidered, and noticed along the way. Social media is good for single moments and short fragments. Here, I want to leave a more lasting trace — something between a project journal, an archive, and a map of growth.

The first months were mainly about building the foundations:

  • creating the main pages,
  • shaping the materials section,
  • looking for the right visual language,
  • and giving the whole project a form that people can return to.

Good things need good foundations.

So this post opens the website timeline not with a grand announcement, but with a quiet beginning. From here, it will be possible to follow how the project grows: what materials appear, which ideas mature, and how many small elements gradually become a home of their own online.

This is where the online timeline of the project begins.
